Friends of Mandel Vilar Press love books and want to ensure their publication. Donations by Friends of the Press help us in two ways: they help the Press to build its endowment, and they help underwrite books that have complex and expensive characteristics — for example, unusual length or design, color and duotone illustrations. Contributions also help to lower the prices of these books, making them more affordable for their intended audiences — scholars, students, librarians, and general educated lay readers — in other words, people like you and me.
