Dear Friends and Colleagues:
On this day, Mandel Vilar Press has just published both a jacketed hardcover and E-Book of Diego Moldes, When Einstein Met Kafka: Jewish Contributions to the Modern World. Since 1980 I have been publishing books by Jewish writers and scholars–first at SUNY Press, then at Indiana University Press, at Wayne State University Press, at Syracuse University Press, at University of Wisconsin Press, at Texas Tech University Press and for the last 11 years at Mandel Vilar Press.
I consider this book to be one of the most important books that I have published. It provides an answer (a counter-weight, and counter argument) to the social media posts of Antisemitic groups that have permeated the Internet since it began and have contributed to the greatest rise in Antisemitism since the 1930s and the rise of Nazism that is being felt around the world–even here in North America since 2000.
Rather than provide a lengthy explanation why I think this is an important book that I would be happy to provide, I am forwarding an author interview published today by Deborah Kalb whose well-known blog, Book Q&As with Deborah Kalb, will help provide a more concise description asking the author key questions of the origins and his reasons for writing this important book.
These books are available on Amazon.com and other bookstore venues–or through MVP’s website at www.mvpublishers.org. The author and translator have several book signing events starting today at the JCC of Central New Jersey in Scotch Plains NJ with other events anticipated stretching through the entire year of 2026. At this moment we are also developing a special author tour of North America locations for late March and early April 2026 for Dr. Diego Moldes who lives and works in Madrid Spain.
If you have any questions or possibly would be interested in reviewing this book for social media or standard media outlets, please contact me directly through the web site form below.
Enjoy this informative Deborah Kalb Author Q&A!
Thanks,
Robert
